A watch charger the size of a car key, with its own battery inside and its own plug built in. It lives on your keyring. No cable, no wall socket, and nothing else to carry.
A magnetic Apple Watch puck on the front, a rechargeable battery behind it, and a USB-A plug that slides out of the bottom.
That last part is the one most listings never mention and it is the reason this works. To refill it you push the plug into any USB socket — a laptop, a wall charger, a car, an airport bench, a hotel TV. You do not need a cable to charge the charger, which is exactly the cable you would have forgotten.
And it is a keyring. It clips to your keys with a proper split ring, so the one object you never leave the house without is now also your watch charger. That is a better answer to a flat watch than a spare lead in a drawer at home.
Put the watch on the portable apple watch charger. The magnet pulls it into place and holds it; there is no contact position to line up and no orientation to get right.
Press the button to check the battery before you go out.
To refill it, slide out the USB-A plug and push it into any powered USB port. That is the whole routine.
It depends far more on which watch you have than on anything about this portable apple watch charger.
A standard Apple Watch battery is somewhere around 300mAh. An Apple Watch Ultra is roughly double that — about 542mAh. So an Ultra takes nearly two watch-charges worth of power to fill once.
That means the same battery in here gives an Ultra owner roughly half as many top-ups as a Series or SE owner gets. Any listing quoting one number for every watch is quoting it for one of them.
And inductive charging is not free. Power crossing a magnetic gap loses a meaningful share to heat, so the capacity on the label is never what lands in the watch. A realistic figure is well under the label and we would rather say so.
What it is really for: getting a flat watch back to a usable charge when you are nowhere near a socket. What it is not: a replacement for your bedside charger.
It has a lithium battery in it, so it is a power bank as far as an airline is concerned, and the rules changed recently.
It must travel in your carry-on, never in checked baggage. Qantas puts it plainly: you may “only carry up to two power banks (each not exceeding a maximum capacity of 160Wh) in your carry-on baggage.”
You cannot use it or recharge it in the air. Also from Qantas: “The use of power banks on board is prohibited. Charging of power banks on board is prohibited, including via in-seat power or USB ports.”
It must stay within reach — seat pocket, under the seat in front, or a nearby locker.
The good news is the size. This is a very small battery, nowhere near any airline’s limit, so there is no approval to seek and no form to fill in. Charge it before you board, put it in your carry-on, and use it once you land.
Check your own airline before you fly. These rules have been tightening and carriers differ.
Long-haul travel, where a watch tracking sleep across time zones runs flat somewhere over the ocean — a portable apple watch charger in the seat pocket is the difference between a tracked night and a blank one.
Festivals, hikes and race days, where a watch is doing GPS work and there is no socket for a day and a half.
Hospital and night shifts, where the watch is the clock and it cannot be off the wrist for ninety minutes.
Anyone who has ever got to Friday and realised the charger is at the office. It is on your keys, so it is wherever you are.
Stocked in Melbourne, not drop-shipped with a three-week wait. Order before 10am and your charger ships the same day via Australia Post with tracking and insurance, backed by our 180-day warranty — double the cover we put on a plain charging lead, because this one has a battery in it and a battery is the part that ages.
And by a team that will tell you what a small battery can honestly do. A keyring charger is a rescue, not a second night’s charge. Tell us which watch you have and we will tell you roughly what to expect from it.
Clip it to your keys, charge it before you go, and order today.
Fits every Apple Watch:
Apple has used one magnetic charging system since 2015, so there is no generation to match.
Recharges from:
Charging rate: standard Apple Watch rate. This is not a fast charger — fast charge needs a puck with an aluminium ring and only works on Series 7 and later, SE 3 and the Ultra range.

Will not work with:
Qi wireless charging pads do not charge an Apple Watch, and this is not a Qi device either — it uses Apple’s magnetic inductive system with the correct coil.
It does not charge phones or earbuds. The puck is shaped and wound for an Apple Watch and nothing else.
Charge only. No data, on any Apple Watch.
