Most of the confusion over which power cable you need comes from the connectors being numbered rather than named. The three common ones look quite different once you know what you are looking at.
C13 is the rectangular three-pin plug found on desktop computers, monitors and most printers — the one usually called a kettle lead. C5 is the rounded three-lobed plug on laptop bricks, often called a cloverleaf. C7 is the small figure-eight on radios, consoles and shavers.
Hold the old lead up and compare the shape of the socket end. That identifies which iec power cable you need faster than any part number will, and it takes about five seconds.
